Abstract
Making this film was motivated by the lack of promotion of Special Interest Tours in Gunungkidul. With the consideration that there is very suitable to be used as a movie promotion media. Stages in the making of the film consists of: initial stage or pre-production and production stages and the last is the stage of post production. These stages should be taken to the making of the film will produce a quality film. Pre production stage is where all the preparatory phases for shooting done. In this phase, the design also made a film that consists of: the determination of story ideas, themes, logline, synopsis and story board creation. That later it will become a reference in the shooting.Production stage is the stage where the process of shooting done. In taking these images must be in accordance with the scheme that has been created. In this stage needs good preparation tool in the process so that there are no barriers. Constraints often come because of natural factors. The last stage is the stage of post production. In this stage of film editing that has been recorded by the camera. Providing interesting effects are also done at this point.Main Software Special Interest Tours filmmaking, using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and Adobe After Effects CS3. Both software is very helpful in doing the editing and also making a very interesting image effects.

Pendahuluan
Dengan suasana yang alami dan keunikan yang tersendiri maka Gunungkidul, banyak menawarkan berbagai macam obyek wisata minat khusus yang mempesona. Gunungkidul memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan kabupaten yang lain di wilayah Propinsi Yogyakarta. Karakterisktik yang berbeda itu yang ingin diangkat Kabupaten Gunungkidul agar menjadi daerah tujuan wisata.
