Abstract

This research aims to develop the website Information System Acceptance of New Students SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with PHP and SQL when it’s able to manage the data of prospective students on the implementation of the New Student Reception. In this research also determined the feasibility of information systems that have been made.

This type of research is the Research and Development. Software development methods using the modified waterfall. Software testing performed to test the correctness of Information Systems four quality, functionality, reliability, and usability. Correctness quality obtained with white box testing (testing Looping) and black box (Graph-based testing). Functionality obtained from testing the quality of State Transition Testing. Reliability testing Load testing obtained from 30 students to enter data, and editing data and deletion of data. Usability obtained from Alpha testing by a team of expert website and beta testing by admin, user1, and the guest. Data analysis technique used is to use descriptive statistical analysis.

The results that the information system mennunjukkan New Admission SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta can be developed and able to perform a new student data processing SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The assessment found the New Admission Information systems SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta to meet quality of correctness, functionality, reliability. New Student Information System Acceptance of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta assessed for each usability criteria.

Pendahuluan

Perkembangan teknologi atau komputer ditandai mulai munculnya Sistem Informasi yang berkembang semakin cepat dan mempengaruhi setiap kegiatan manusia dari berbagai macam aspek. Dalam aspek pendidikan, pengorganisasian sekolah tidak terlepas dari penggunaan Sistem Informasi. Hal ini berfungsi untuk memudahkan dalam managerial sebuah sekolah seperti yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya. SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta adalah sekolah swasta yang telah menerapkan standar mutu ISO 9001:2008 dan telah menggunakan stadart pengajaran RSBI. Salah satu kegiatan besar di awal tahun ajaran adalah saat Penerimaan Siswa Baru. Beberapa proses yang harus dilakukan dari calon siswa antara lain: pendaftaran, pengumpulan formulir dan pendataan, cek kesehatan, dan wawancara yang didampingi oleh orang tua calon siswa. Siswa yang melakukan daftar ulang akan langsung diterima sedangkan yang tidak melakukan daftar ulang hingga batas pendaftaran akan dianggap mengundurkan diri atau dianggap gugur sebagai siswa.
