JURNAL : SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS PELAPORAN MASYARAKAT (SIGMA) BERBASIS FOTO GEOTAG

ABSTRAK - The problems that occur in the society such as bad infrastructure and public welfare cause information about the location of the problem becomes very important to be known by the government. Society Reporting Geographic Information Systems (SIGMA) is an application that provides information based on the geographical position of a photograph. With the SIGMA, the society could help the government to collect information about the location of the problem with uploading photos via the web and the android application so that the government can monitor the distribution of the location of the problem, planning and taking countermeasures quickly and accurately, especially for areas far from the government’s attention. This application utilizes the phone's camera features that has a direct synergy with the GPS feature to provide information about the object and the condition known as geotagging. Photos then uploaded via a web application, or using android application which can be downloaded from the website. Through GPS metadata contained in the picture, SIGMA will get the coordinates for the location of the photo then displayed it on the map. The results show that the web and the android application can upload photos that have coordinate information. The test results of a questionnaire using Likert's method Summated Rating (LSR) earned a total score of 2369 which showed that respondents are very positive and successful application.

PENDAHULUAN - Berbagai bentuk permasalahan di masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan kerusakan infrastruktur, permasalahansosial, dan pencemaran lingkungan yang terjadi di masyarakat menyebabkan informasi tentang lokasi masalah tersebut menjadi sangat penting untuk diketahui oleh pemerintah. Untuk mengatasi masalah lambatnya arus informasi yang masuk ke pihak pemerintah, maka dibutuhkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengumpulkan dan melaporkan informasimengenai masalah kerusakan jalan dan jembatan, penerangan jalan yang tidak berfungsi, tempat pembuangan dan pembakaran sampah ilegal, pembakaran lahan, toilet tidak sehat, dan pemetaan rumah tidak layak huni melalui sebuah foto yang diambil dengan kamera ponsel.
